PlacerSustain Acknowledges the Placer Nature Center as the most active community organization that is using our web portal to inform the public about Center events and program activities! All local organizations and individuals with sustainability interests benefit from aggregating traffic in a community portal. The PlacerSustain website supplements the outreach from each organizations individual websites and newsletters. In the case of the Placer Nature Center, visit their website at
PlacerSustain is on an calendar year membership cycle. All the basic PlacerSustain member rights and privileges are free. The work that is being done, which is considerable, is primarily being accomplished by volunteers.

Let us know if you have other areas of interest you would like to pursue. Our "initiatives" are simply members who are working together to accomplish their mutual goals. If you want an initiative that isn't on this list, you get to create it--we have volunteers who are willing to help.
