Members of PlacerSustain have Blog authorship privileges. To create a blog posting, click on "Blogs" on the main navigation menu, or click on "Create Content", then select "Blog Entry." Enter the "Title" of the blog post, then select one of the "Blog Categories." Blog categories help people find your post when navigating through the blog menu. It is not necessary to select from "Knowledgebase TAGS. If a Knowledgebase tag is selected, then the blog posting is searchable through our Knowledgebase Wiki directory. In other words the blog posting can also be placed in the Knowledgebase, which is appropriate for some posts. In the "Body" field insert the text of your post. It is not necessary to make any selection in the "Audience" field. The default is "Public." You can post a blog to a particular Group if you wish. If you have set up a connection through your PlacerSustain My Account page for Twitter, you will be given an option to post the blog to your Twitter account. Finally, and this is essential, you have to click on "Save." If you leave the page before hitting Save, all will be lost. Unless you are a Blog Moderator, Blog posts require approval before being "published." You would have to work at it to get a blog rejected. If you edit a Blog post and don't want to notify everybody of a minor change, under "Notifications" click on "Do Not Send Notifications for this Update." Blog away!
