Shepherd of the Sierra
Thu, 11/25/2010 - 12:23 — Sue BordelonShepherd of the Sierra is in the process of creating a sustainability initiative that will include a number of existing community outreach mission programs. The Church is very active in the "Gathering In" program for the homeless, and is working with a young farmer to create a 2 acre vegetable garden on church grounds.

Julie Hettig Joins PlacerSustain as a Member

Julie is the President of the Board of Directors of Placer People of Faith Together, an inter-faith community organization. She is also a nurse-practitioner and a local food supporter. Her primary interest is "spiritual sustainability." Julie has attended a number of our PlacerSustain events.
